Membership Terms

These Membership Terms apply to individual and organisational memberships offered by CAQA Skills, part of CAQA Groups and a Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238) initiative. They apply together with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Webinar and Event Terms and Cancellation and Refund Policy. By purchasing or using a CAQA Skills membership you agree to these terms.

1. Who membership is for

CAQA Skills membership is designed for trainers, assessors, compliance professionals, managers and organisations across vocational education, higher education and the broader training sector who want structured, ongoing professional development. Details of the current membership options are on our Membership page.

2. Inclusions

Depending on the tier purchased, membership may include: access to live webinars at member pricing or at no additional charge; access to the PD on demand library; members-only resources, templates and session materials; priority booking for limited-capacity sessions; and member updates and communications. The inclusions that apply to your membership are those stated for your tier at the time of purchase or renewal.

3. Exclusions

Unless expressly stated for your tier, membership does not include customised or in-house training, mentoring engagements, consulting or advisory services, conference or awards tickets sold separately, or products and services offered by other CAQA Groups brands. Those services are scoped, quoted and charged separately.

4. Term, fees and renewal

Memberships run for the period stated at purchase, for example twelve months, and fees are shown in Australian dollars and payable in advance through our secure payment providers or by invoice for organisational memberships. Where a membership renews automatically, we will let you know before the renewal is processed and you may cancel the renewal at any time before that date. We may change membership pricing or inclusions for future terms; changes do not reduce inclusions you have already paid for during a current term.

5. User access

An individual membership is for one named person, and its login details and entitlements must not be shared. An organisational membership covers the number of named users or seats stated at purchase, and the organisation is responsible for keeping its user list accurate and for its users' compliance with these terms. We may suspend access while we investigate credential sharing or other misuse.

6. Fair use

Member access is provided for genuine professional development use. You must not systematically download, scrape or archive the PD on demand library, register for sessions solely to obtain materials for people who are not members, or otherwise use membership in a way that is unfair to other members or to CAQA Skills. We will contact you about unusual usage before restricting access wherever practicable.

7. Members-only resources

Members-only recordings, templates and materials are licensed for your own professional use and for internal use within your organisation. They must not be resold, redistributed, publicly posted, uploaded to third-party libraries or supplied to unrelated organisations, and copyright notices must not be removed. This licence ends when your membership ends, except for materials we have expressly told you that you may retain.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current paid period. Refunds are handled under our Cancellation and Refund Policy, and nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. We may suspend or cancel a membership for serious or repeated breach of these terms; if we cancel your membership for any reason other than breach, we will refund the unused portion of the term.

9. Your information

We collect membership details such as your name, organisation, contact details, payment records, session registrations and certificate records so that we can operate your membership, confirm entitlements and issue certificates. This information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Professional development only

Membership content is general professional development and sector information. It is not legal, financial or regulatory advice, and regulatory decisions remain with ASQA, TEQSA and other relevant authorities. Certificates issued through membership activities confirm participation only; see our CPD Certificate Disclaimer.

11. Contact

Membership questions can be sent to info@caqa.com.au, made by phone on 1800 266 160, or lodged through our contact page. You can also write to us at 2/10 Lawn Court, Craigieburn, Victoria 3064.
