CPD Certificate Disclaimer

This CPD Certificate Disclaimer explains what certificates issued by CAQA Skills, part of CAQA Groups and a Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238) initiative, do and do not represent. It applies to certificates of participation, attendance records and continuing professional development (CPD) statements issued for the live webinars, PD on demand modules, workshops, mentoring programs and other professional development activities offered through this website to educators, compliance staff and industry professionals.

1. Certificates confirm participation only

A CAQA Skills certificate confirms that the named person registered for and participated in, or completed, the stated professional development activity on the stated date and for the stated duration. It is evidence of participation in professional development. It is not evidence of competency, and it does not certify that the holder has been assessed against any unit of competency, training product, professional standard or job role.

2. No guarantee of competency, approval or employment

Certificates issued by CAQA Skills do not guarantee competency in any skill or subject covered by a session. They do not guarantee regulatory approval or any registration, re-registration, audit, accreditation or funding outcome with ASQA, TEQSA, state regulators, professional bodies or funding authorities. They do not guarantee employment, promotion, salary or any other career outcome. Regulators, employers and professional bodies make their own decisions based on their own requirements and evidence.

3. Not nationally recognised training

CAQA Skills professional development is non-accredited. Certificates issued through this website are not AQF qualifications, statements of attainment or nationally recognised training outcomes, and CAQA Skills webinars and PD on demand modules are not delivered as accredited courses. If you require nationally recognised training, it must be delivered and assessed by a registered training organisation under the relevant training product.

4. CPD hours and acceptance

Where a certificate states CPD hours or points, these are indicative and reflect the scheduled duration of the activity. Whether an activity counts towards your CPD obligations is decided by your regulator, professional association, licensing body or employer, and those requirements change over time. You are responsible for checking the requirements that apply to you before booking, for keeping your own CPD records and for retaining evidence of participation.

5. How certificates are issued

Certificates are included in the registration fee for paid activities and are issued for eligible free sessions where stated; there is no separate charge for a first-issue certificate. Certificates are normally issued by email after attendance has been confirmed for a live session or after completion of an on-demand module. Attendance at part of a session may result in no certificate or a certificate reflecting partial attendance.

6. Accuracy, records and reissue

Certificates are generated from the registration details you provide, so please make sure your name is complete and spelled correctly when you register. If a certificate contains an error, or you need a copy reissued or verified, contact us with your booking details. We keep records of registrations, attendance and certificates issued so that participation can be verified, and that information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. General information, not advice

The content of CAQA Skills sessions is general professional development and sector information. It is not legal, financial or regulatory advice and does not take account of your organisation's individual circumstances. Decisions about compliance, registration, accreditation and funding remain with the relevant authority or decision-maker, and completing our sessions does not change that.
